Lentil Markets Surge
PANAMA - Apr 17/20 - SNS -- Trading levels on lentil markets surged during the past week in a combination of improved short term demand and doubts about production levels in Turkey and India.
The net result is prices set new season highs for the 2019-20 marketing campaign in both grower and inter-dealer markets during the past week.
India's decision to take measures which further restrict the import potential for field peas was also seen as an encouraging development.
