Australia's Lentils Exports Record Soft Month
PANAMA - Apr 7/20 - SNS -- At this point in this marketing year amanagedan easier result, with lentils export shipments for Australia were slightly lower, falling compared to the previous month in February, according to data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Movement for the month totalled 64,762 metric tons (MT), down from 69,244 MT the previous month. This lifted movement so far during the marketing year to 269,059, up 220% last year.
Bangladesh was the biggest buyer during the month, taking 30,217 MT. Sri Lanka was the second most important destination taking 12,654 MT, followed by India at 8,995 MT.
