Argentina's Kidney Bean Exports Reveal Weak Month
PANAMA - Mar 30/20 - SNS -- Exports of kidney beans for Argentina eased compared to the previous month in December, available data from Instituto Nacional de Estadistica y Censos shows.
Export sales totalled 45,797 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 18% from the 55,800 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 431,401 MT, compared to 320,825 during the previous calendar year.
Brazil was the number one destination, receiving 9,515 MT. Turkey was the second most important destination taking 6,310 MT, followed by Algeria at 6,033 MT.
