Field Pea Exports From Russia Start With Easy Tendency

PANAMA - Mar 26/20 - SNS -- Opened this calendar year on an easier tendency, with field pea movement from Russia sank relative to the previous month in January, judging from official trade data from Federal Customs Service of Russia.

The updated data showed export sales for the month totalled 19,465 metric tons (MT), down 52% from 40,668 the previous month. Compared to the same month last year, movement are down 8% from 21,127 MT.

The largest consumer during the month was Pakistan, receiving 8,776 MT. Nepal was the second most important consumer taking 2,875 MT, followed by Turkey at 2,837 MT.
