Lentils Ease Despite Good Movement

PANAMA - Mar 14/20 - SNS -- International lentil markets finished the week's trading on a slightly easier note in the face of a seasonal slow down in import demand.

Weakness in the Canadian dollar gave exporters in that country room to adjust prices to try to attract fresh demand.

Interestingly, grower bids eased for No 1 Canada large green lentils, suggesting exporters have been successful at attracting good demand for No 2 Canada and Extra 3 Canada product based on sample approvals from end users.
