Broadbean Exports From Australia Post A Firm Result

PANAMA - Mar 5/20 - SNS -- Australia's exports of broadbeans in January rocketed compared to the previous month, judging from data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Exports during the opening month of the marketing year totalled 51,546 metric tons (MT), up 65% from 31,293 MT the previous month. The data showed movement is down 10% from the 101,609 MT recorded in the same month last year.

Current trade data revealed Egypt was largest consumer, receiving 36,793 MT for the month. Saudi Arabia was the second most important destination taking 4,592 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 2,519 MT.
