Kazakhstan's Sunflower Seed Exports Sustain Solid Trend
PANAMA - Feb 13/20 - SNS -- Exports of sunflower seeds from Kazakhstan made huge gains, leaping relative to the previous month in November, the most recent data from The Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan shows.
Total export sales for the month amounted to 75,297 metric tons (MT), up 101% from the previous month's total of 37,498. So far exports have totalled 469,900 MT, up from 264,054 during the previous calendar year.
China was the top buyer for the month, receiving 60,308 MT. Uzbekistan was the second most important consumer taking 12,705 MT, followed by Tajikistan at 2,045 MT.
