Edible Beans Maintain Firm Tone
PANAMA - Jan 25/20 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets closed the week's trading moderately mixed, though maintaining their relatively firm undertone.
This was reflected in inter-dealer markets in the United States, with the result its spot index for dry edible beans advanced 1.6 points on the week to close at 144.5.
The Canadian pulse prices index eased 0.1 points on the week to close at 142.1, while the global index slipped 0.7 points to finish at 149.5 on recent weakness in Australian pulse markets.
