Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Reveal Weak Performance
PANAMA - Jan 15/20 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers in November fell sharply versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Total imports during the month reached 1,866 metric tons (MT), down 96% from the previous month's total of 41,480. So far imports have totalled 251,994 MT, up from 207,821 during the last calendar year.
During the month, Turkey was the largest export origin, shipping 740 MT. Moldova was the second most important exporter supplying 655 MT, followed by Ukraine at 312 MT.
