Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Post Soft Performance
PANAMA - Jan 15/20 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year revealed a weaker month, with oil-type sunflower shipments from Romania plunged relative to the previous month in November, according to data from Eurostat.
Total exports throughout the month reached 10,621 metric tons (MT), down 97% from the previous month's total of 333,070. So far exports have totalled 1,586,001 MT, up from 1,485,675 during the last calendar year.
Serbia was the largest destination, receiving 5,851 MT. Turkey was the second most important importer buying 3,655 MT, followed by Bosnia and Herzegovina at 1,112 MT.
