Green Lentil Exports From Canada Post Strong Oucome
PANAMA - Jan 7/20 - SNS -- Exports of green lentils for Canada advanced versus the previous month in November, official data from Statistics Canada shows.
Total export sales throughout the month reached 29,588 metric tons (MT), up 6% from the previous month's total of 28,009. So far movement has totalled 128,083 MT, down from 180,791 in the same period the previous marketing year.
Algeria was the biggest consumer, receiving 7,195 MT. Morocco was the second most important buyer receiving 4,202 MT, followed by Sudan at 3,038 MT.
