Spain's Field Pea Imports Post Improved Performance
PANAMA - Nov 15/19 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year recorded a better result, with field pea imports by Spain posted solid gains, moving upward compared to the previous month in September, according to trade statistics from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 57,440 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 31% from the 43,907 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 166,737 MT, versus 420,967 during the last calendar year.
The most recent movement data showed Ukraine was largest exporter, shipping 49,776 MT. Moldova was the second most important origin shipping 6,555 MT, followed by France at 1,032 MT.
