Mustard Markets Hold Steady

PANAMA - Nov 8/19 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets remained steady during the past week, with little price movement reported in grower and inter-dealer markets.

This year's harvest is considered complete, though 3% of the crop remains in fields. If conditions improve, farmers may try to harvest what remains this month, otherwise it will wait for spring.

Opening season export movement is up from last year. This summer's increase in the amount carried over from the previous marketing year offset the slow pace of the harvest, allowing exporters to meet shipping commitment through the end of September.
