Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 19/19 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
The west to southwesterly airflow across Victoria will gradually ease overnight and during Sunday as a high pressure system over the Bight moves towards Adelaide. The high will move over Bass Strait Monday night and will become centred over the Tasman Sea on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayScattered showers mainly over southern and mountain districts, becoming isolated and contracting towards the coast this evening. Isolated hail and thunder over the southeast clearing. Moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds gradually easing.Sunday 20 OctoberMostly cloudy with isolated showers over southern and mountain areas. Dry and partly cloudy across the north. Isolated morning frosts in the north, then a cool day with moderate west to southwesterly winds, fresh at times about the coast.Fire Danger -  Low to ModerateMonday 21 OctoberIsolated morning fog and frost over the north. Generally mild and partly cloudy across the south with isolated morning drizzle over West Gippsland. Dry, sunny and mild to warm across the north. Generally light south to southwesterly winds.Tuesday 22 OctoberEarly morning fog patches, then a dry and mostly sunny day. Mild to warm inland with light winds, but a little cooler along the coastal fringe with afternoon seabreezes.Wednesday 23 OctoberDry. A warm to hot and sunny day with light winds tending northerly. A little milder near the coast with afternoon seabreezes.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Sunday.Product IDV10310
