Broadbean Exports From Australia Continue Weak Trend

PANAMA - Oct 4/19 - SNS -- Australia's export shipments of broadbeans in August fell compared to the previous month, according to data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Movement reached 3,828 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 49% from the 7,531 MT exported the previous month. Shipments so far total 267,415 MT, compared to 314,136 during the previous marketing year.

The latest trade statistics revealed Egypt was number one importer, buying 630 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important buyer buying 621 MT, followed by Indonesia at 518 MT.
