Little Change in Mustard
PANAMA - Sep 20/19 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets were largely unchanged on the week, with market participants waiting to see more reports on yields and quality.
Canada's harvest started the week at 24% complete, down from 74% at the same time last year and well behind the recent five year average of just over 67%.
Current grower bids are at decile five for yellow, while brown is at decile four and oriental at decile one. It is important to remember, decile levels do not indicate market direction. They simply represent the percentage of time prices have occupied specific ranges.
