Netherlands's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Extend Soft Tone
PANAMA - Sep 13/19 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year continued their softer trend, with oil-type sunflower imports for Netherlands posted massive declines, sinking relative to the previous month in July, according to recent statistics from Eurostat.
Total imports during the month reached 29 metric tons (MT), down 100% from the previous month's total of 6,104. So far imports have reached 290,958 MT, down from 605,263 in the same period the last calendar year.
Egypt was the largest origin, supplying 25 MT. Lebanon was the second most important origin shipping 2 MT, followed by China at 2 MT.
