United States Grower Bean Index Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 11/19 - STAT -- The grower price index for dry edible beans grown in the United States at the close of the 2018-19 marketing year slipping 4% below the recent three year average.
For the season just ended, the Bean Index was 934 points, compared to an annual average of 973 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly pattern reveals the highest monthly average index level was 957 points in July, while the lowest monthly average level was 916 points in January.
