Netherlands's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Extend Weak Tone
PANAMA - Aug 16/19 - SNS -- At this point in the current calendar year added to their easier trend, with oil-type sunflower imports for Netherlands shrank relative to the previous month in June, according to official data from Eurostat.
Imports reached 171 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 99% from the 18,959 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 284,995 MT, versus 526,617 during the previous calendar year.
Recent trade data showed China was biggest origin, supplying 146 MT during the month. Egypt was the second most important origin selling 25 MT, followed by United States at 0 MT.
