Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Post Improved Result
PANAMA - Aug 16/19 - SNS -- Spain's imports of confection sunflowers during June advanced versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports reached 34,414 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 18% from the 29,277 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 126,626 MT, compared to 137,568 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Current movement data reported France was most important origin, selling 30,337 MT in the month. United States was the second most important supplier supplying 1,522 MT, followed by China at 1,201 MT.
