Red Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/19 - STAT -- Canadian Red Lentil markets finished the 2018-19 marketing year with prices falling 14% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Red Lentil was USD$19.59 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $22.69 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $21.44 per cwt in February, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $17.70 per cwt in August.
