Laird Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/19 - STAT -- Canadian Laird Lentil markets finished the 2018-19 marketing year with prices falling 34% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Laird Lentil was USD$23.50 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $35.52 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $25.44 per cwt in February, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $21.80 per cwt in November.
