Brown Mustard Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/19 - STAT -- Canadian Brown Mustard markets finished the 2018-19 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 11% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Brown Mustard was CDN$31.12 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $35.12 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $33.00 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $30.10 per cwt in November.
