China's Sunflower Seed Exports Record Slow Month
PANAMA - Jul 29/19 - SNS -- Movement of sunflower seeds from China sank relative to the previous month in June, trade data from General Customs Administration of China reveals.
Shipments during the month reached 28,365 metric tons (MT), down from 40,637 MT the previous month. This lifted shipments so far during the calendar year to 296,737, up 8% last year.
Iran was the biggest buyer during the month, taking 8,293 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important consumer buying 6,126 MT, followed by Indonesia at 2,205 MT.
