Confection Sunflower Imports By Spain Reveal Better Performance
PANAMA - Jul 16/19 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers for Spain leapt compared to the previous month in May, data from Eurostat shows.
Imports reached 29,277 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 75% from the 16,745 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 92,213 MT, versus 102,086 during the previous calendar year.
France was the most important supplier for the month, supplying 24,576 MT. United States was the second most important exporter selling 1,896 MT, followed by China at 1,300 MT.
