Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Post Easy Month
PANAMA - Jul 16/19 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers during May shrank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports reached 1,588 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 93% from the 22,705 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 90,169 MT, compared to 69,635 during the last calendar year.
For the month, Moldova was the largest shipper, supplying 521 MT. China was the second most important origin supplying 514 MT, followed by Turkey at 503 MT.
