WASHINGTON - Jul 11/19 - SNS -- Durum wheat production in the United States shopuld reach 58.1 million bushels, down 25% from 2018, according to the latest USDA production forecast for 2019.
The United States yield is forecast at 42.9 bushels per acre, up 3.6 bushels from last year. Area expected to be harvested for grain or seed totals 1.36 million acres, unchanged from the Acreage report released on June 28, 2019, but 31% below 2018
