U.S. Growers Cut 31% Lentil Area
WASHINGTON - Jun 28/19 - SNS -- Lentil seedings in the United States are down 31% fron last year at an estimated at 535,000 acres, according to the USDA's seeded area estimates for 2019.
Area forecasted to be harvested, at 508,000 acres, is down 29% from the 2018 season.
