Lithuania's Field Pea Exports Maintain Soft Trend
PANAMA - Jun 18/19 - SNS -- Lithuania's export shipments of field peas in April posted significant declines, slumping versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Exports for the month totalled 22,097 metric tons (MT), down from 28,592 MT the previous month. This boosted exports so far during the calendar year to 94,984, down 26% last year.
For the month, France was the most important destination, receiving 13,950 MT. Germany was the second most important importer buying 2,281 MT, followed by Latvia at 2,260 MT.
