Lentils Adopt Quiet Tone

PANAMA - Jun 7/19 - SNS -- International lentil markets resumed their quiet tone through the past week, with some fill in buying by exporters reported.

Prices were little changed, with recent increases in volatility in currency markets making it hard for importers and exporters to feel confident about prospective margins on new business.

The risk of trade disruption between Mexico and the United States appears to have been averted, but it may be a mistake to assume it will not return as a factor in markets.
