Modest Firmness in Beans
PANAMA - Jun 3/19 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets finished last week's trading on a modestly firmer note.
This saw the U.S. spot index for beans finish the week up 0.5 points at 116.3. The Canadian pulse price index advanced 1.8 points to finish at 125.1, while the world pulse price index inched up 0.1 points to close at 138.8.
Light fill in trading was reported through the week, but most market participants are now paying attention to how crops develop in the northern hemisphere.
