Broadbean Exports From Australia Post A Strong Performance

PANAMA - May 8/19 - SNS -- Movement of broadbeans for Australia posted major advances, moving upward versus the previous month in March, recent data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reveals.

Shipments reached 65,796 metric tons (MT) for the month, up 51% from the 43,516 MT exported the previous month. Exports so far total 210,921 MT, versus 215,314 during the last marketing year.

Current movement data showed Egypt was largest consumer, buying 55,994 MT for the month. Indonesia was the second most important consumer buying 3,473 MT, followed by Saudi Arabia at 3,171 MT.
