France's Confection Sunflower Imports Post A Firm Result
PANAMA - Apr 17/19 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year recorded a an improved result, with confection sunflower imports by France leapt compared to the previous month in February, according to recent data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 3,373 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 123% from the 1,514 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 4,888 MT, compared to 103,638 during the previous calendar year.
The latest trade data showed United Kingdom was biggest exporter, shipping 2,115 MT. Bulgaria was the second most important export origin selling 510 MT, followed by Spain at 184 MT.
