Field Pea Exports From Lithuania Start With Easy Tone
PANAMA - Apr 17/19 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year on a softer tendency, with field pea export shipments for Lithuania dropped compared to the previous month in February, according to statistics from Eurostat.
Exports for the month totalled 20,633 metric tons (MT), down from 23,663 MT the prior month. This lifted exports so far during the calendar year to 44,295, down 23% last year.
For the month, France was the biggest buyer, taking 6,622 MT. Norway was the second most important consumer buying 6,610 MT, followed by Belgium at 4,200 MT.
