Belgium's Soybean Exports Open On Soft Note

PANAMA - Apr 17/19 - SNS -- Shipments of soybeans from Belgium sank relative to the previous month in February, data from Eurostat shows.

Shipments totalled 131 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 99% from the 14,025 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 14,155 MT, versus 35,776 during the previous calendar year.

Recent trade data showed Gabon was most important importer, taking 126 MT for the month. Liechtenstein was the second most important consumer taking 2 MT, followed by Norway at 1 MT.
