Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Start With Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Apr 17/19 - SNS -- Movement of oil-type sunflowers from Romania fell sharply compared to the previous month in February, trade data from Eurostat reports.
Export sales totalled 39,454 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 64% from the 108,448 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 147,902 MT, versus 336,283 during the previous calendar year.
Turkey was the biggest destination during the month, taking 38,645 MT. Bosnia and Herzegovina was the second most important buyer buying 698 MT, followed by Moldova at 100 MT.
