Australia's Whole Pea Exports Post A Better Result
PANAMA - Apr 3/19 - SNS -- Australia's exports of whole peas during February were up significantly, rising compared to the previous month, judging from data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Exports for the month totalled 4,233 metric tons (MT), up from 3,412 MT the previous month. This lifted movement so far during the marketing year to 23,770, down 52% last year.
Shipments so far during this marketing year have been down relative to the same period for the prior five years. A total of 23,770 MT was exported so far, down -53% from the average of 50,723 MT posted the previous five years.
