Mung Bean Imports By India Post Easy Month
PANAMA - Mar 28/19 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year revealed a weaker performance, with mung bean imports for India dropped relative to the previous month in December, according to data from Directorate General of Commercial Intelligence & Statistics.
Imports totalled 75,852 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 14% from the 88,590 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 488,319 MT, compared to 438,994 in the same period the last calendar year.
The most recent movement statistics revealed Myanmar was top supplier, supplying 69,222 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important origin supplying 4,359 MT, followed by Singapore at 1,451 MT.
