Oil-type Sunflower Exports From Romania Start With Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- Romania's movement of oil-type sunflowers during January sank compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
The most recent statistics showed shipments for the month totalled 23,999 metric tons (MT), down 82% from 132,539 the previous month. Compared to the same month last year, exports are down 80% from 120,058 MT.
During the month, Turkey was the number one buyer, receiving 23,343 MT. Bosnia and Herzegovina was the second most important destination receiving 631 MT, followed by Moldova at 22 MT.
