France's Soybean Imports Open On Weak Tendency

PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- France's imports of soybeans in January fell versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.

Imports during the first month of the calendar year totalled 45,353 metric tons (MT), down 30% from 64,654 MT the previous month. The statistics revealed imports is down 10% from the 50,553 MT reported during the same month last year.

United States was the most important supplier during the month, shipping 33,001 MT. Togo was the second most important shipper supplying 6,195 MT, followed by Belgium at 4,710 MT.
