Dollar Firms Mustard Seed

PANAMA - Mar 15/19 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets finished the week on a slightly firmer note, helped by weakness in the Canadian dollar.

Oriental posted the biggest gains, rising 5% to close at U.S. $431 per metric ton (MT) as processors lifted bids to farmers to try to attract additional supplies.

Brown and yellow were up 1% on the week, finishing at $514 and $597 MT respectively for farmers dressed quality delivered western Canadian processing plants.
