China's Mung Bean Exports Record Easy Month

PANAMA - Mar 14/19 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year revealed a weaker performance, with mung bean shipments for China were well down, plunging compared to the previous month in December, according to available statistics from General Customs Administration of China.

Export sales for the month reached 7,764 metric tons (MT), down from 11,852 MT the prior month. This boosted export sales so far during the calendar year to 131,936, up 27% last year.

The most recent movement data showed Vietnam was biggest importer, receiving 3,891 MT. Japan was the second most important importer buying 2,269 MT, followed by United States at 378 MT.
