Easier Tone in Lentils

PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- The world's lentil markets finished the week's trading with a slightly easier undertone as some processors and exporters continue to try to clear inventory.

This offset any positive impact from confirmation Australia's lentil crop had sunk from 485,000 to 323,000 metric tons (MT).

That country's exports are off to a slow start in the face of solid competition for demand from its key red lentil markets and India's absence as a major buyer.
