Soybean Imports From Belgium Record Soft Month
PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- Imports of soybeans for Belgium sank relative to the previous month in December, available data from Eurostat reports.
Imports reached 20,193 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 64% from the 56,516 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 663,684 MT, compared to 340,049 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The most recent movement statistics showed United States was biggest supplier, selling 17,220 MT. India was the second most important exporter shipping 2,771 MT, followed by China at 120 MT.
