Russia's Safflower Exports Post Better Performance

PANAMA - Feb 13/19 - SNS -- Russia's movement of safflowers in November rocketed compared to the previous month, according to data from Federal Customs Service of Russia.

Movement reached 4,924 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 78% from the 2,771 MT exported the previous month. Export sales so far total 64,218 MT, compared to 110,611 in the same period the previous calendar year.

In the month, Turkey was the largest buyer, taking 2,333 MT. Poland was the second most important buyer taking 623 MT, followed by Belgium at 444 MT.
