American Black Bean Exports Reveal Easy Performance

PANAMA - Feb 6/19 - SNS -- American shipments of black beans during November sank versus the previous month, judging from data from U.S. Department of Commerce.

Exports reached 4,867 metric tons (MT) in the month, down 22% from the 6,200 MT shipped the previous month. Exports so far total 15,420 MT, versus 15,247 during the last marketing year.

In the month, Mexico was the top destination, taking 4,390 MT. Guatemala was the second most important importer buying 266 MT, followed by Panama at 64 MT.
