American Peas (nes) Exports Record Strong Performance
PANAMA - Feb 6/19 - SNS -- Export shipments of peas (nes)s for U.S. rocketed relative to the previous month in November, the latest data from U.S. Department of Commerce shows.
Movement totalled 2,283 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 110% from the 1,085 MT shipped the previous month. Movement so far total 5,156 MT, versus 7,490 in the same period the last marketing year.
Djibouti was the biggest destination, receiving 1,826 MT. Canada was the second most important buyer receiving 409 MT, followed by Mexico at 40 MT.
