Whole Pea Exports From Australia Extend Soft Trend
PANAMA - Feb 6/19 - SNS -- Exports of whole peas for Australia eased relative to the previous month in December, the latest data from Australia Bureau of Statistics reveals.
Total movement throughout the month reached 7,592 metric tons (MT) , down 14% from the previous month's total of 8,823. So far Export sales to 16,415 MT, down from 32,364 during the previous marketing year.
Bangladesh was the top consumer during the month, receiving 2,479 MT. India was the second most important destination buying 1,802 MT, followed by Bangladesh at 1,449 MT.
