Lentils Holding Firm
PANAMA - Dec 21/18 - SNS -- Lentil markets finished the week's trading on a relatively firm note, helped by the slow down in trading activity because of the holiday season and optimism about demand prospects through the balance of the marketing year.
Exporters are seeing better than expected bulk lentil movement into the Middle East.
By the end of November, bulk movement to Turkey and other Middle East destinations totalled 38,200 metric tons (MT). During the same four month period this season, movement totalled 48,500 MT.
