Firmer Tone in Mustard

PANAMA - Dec 14/18 - SNS -- North American mustard seed finished the week's trading on a generally firmer tone as grower selling slipped behind the short term needs of processors and exporters.

Even so, prices grower bids remain in the bottom end of their historic price range, with all three classes sitting between decile two and three.

More significantly, grower bids since the start of the marketing year are lower than last season's average by 9% for yellow, 14% for oriental and 24% for brown mustard seed.
